i passed my IVAM! but that's theory la..i passed one our of the 4 skills alr. left 3 more skills not assessed yet.Due to INFLUENZA A- H1N1, also known as swine flu, mask fitting takes place in the auditorium everyday! we have no place but to sit at the foyer. tat also means there's lesser venues to set up exam stations. that's why its super slow. we're into orange alert now. preparing to go into red alert soon. orange alert means Healthcare Institutions Temperature screening and screening for flu like symptoms for visitors to clinical care areas would be implemented Hospital staff are required to don PPE in all areas with patient contact The number of visitors would also be restricted to one visitor per patient. This will help facilitate contact tracing and will reduce potential exposure of the Influenza A (H1N1-2009) virus. and here's something for all of you Practise good personal hygiene and be socially responsible by: ▪ Washing your hands regularly and thoroughly with soap and water, especially before touching your eyes, nose or mouth. ▪ Turning quickly away from anyone near you if you are about to cough or sneeze, and do not cough or sneeze at him. ▪ Covering your nose and mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of the tissue properly in the dust bin after use. ▪ Avoiding crowded places if you are unwell and wear a surgical mask to cover your nose and mouth. ▪ Staying home from work or school when you are sick. ▪ Using a serving spoon when sharing food at meal times. ▪ Seeing your family doctor if you are feeling unwell. Also, leading a healthy lifestyle helps to build up your immunity and protects you against infection. ▪ Eat a balanced diet, including plenty of fruit and vegetables. ▪ Be active. Do 30 minutes of physical activity at least 5 days a week. ▪ Learn to relax and have enough sleep and rest. ▪ Do not smoke. |
