its friday! its alr week 4 of the orientation. the training centre has became my second home. i think i spend like half my time there everyday.coming out frm poly a change of uniform overnight from a student nurse to staff nurse brought about excitement, and fear. yet under the care of AgNE Eugene, NE Xu Ping, SCI Sarah, the training centre became a protected place. we were still like students hanging ard playing ard, singing n dancing during breaks doing the kinda things a typical student would be doing during lectures we were sheltered by them 就像温室里的小花 and now, again overnight there will be a change of uniform. for a few of us, its frm uniform to scrubs a new responsibility a new environment a new chapter of our lives begins here. was chatting to SCI Sarah about uniforms n attire, appearance n all. she shared her past with me her experiences n she said this " u can still choose to "rebel", have ur hair colored n bright streats, short skirt, tight uniform, refuse to bun ur hair. have colored hair to look pretty, when u can have black hair n still look pretty. but end of the day, when it comes to promotion n ur chance is overlooked because of your appearance, personal grooming. don sulk when u don get it. because u are the one who chose it" hwa. revelation seh. 惶然大悟 i dowan to be an ah lian. i want the promotion. both she n eugene are the best example. it took them 5 yrs to then again change their white uniform to blue i want 7yrs to change from white to blue then to white again with the orange stripe. this is my goal. |
