and here's naomi! super surprised to see her at SGH during the nurses day celebration. she was away in TTSH NNI for training thou. really miss spending time, just slacking with her. but it feels super good to see her tummy growing, the little boy "expanding" . cant wait to see him in dec! hehe. thank you for your support, encouragement, even to the very last min before we went on stage. it feels extremely comforting to have a close friend by that moment. sounds childish, but it felt like life n death were at stake. hahahaah

life had been a little more challenging than normal. after the debate i was sick for a few days, on n off, tried to fend it off with like bufen, then proceeded on to ponstan.. then was the brief episode of GE, then the abdo pain, and now, throat infection, right after my first night shift as overall IC. i was in silent mode for 2 days. just nua at home, lie in bed. didnt want to do anything, didnt want to talk. but now that voice is finally back, i can talk again!

its super stressful being overall IC man.. honestly.. i have never walked round the dept so many times in one night before. kept walking round. checking the different areas checklist. see if my obs is alright, enough staff, how's the bed situation, then to triage to see if my triage ic needs help, then to resus to see if they are busy, need me to send staff anot. and also to check stock, see if its sufficient, need to order anot, and on top of that to get all the roll call signed, must know who is on duty and who is not cause audit is this week. and most importantly, MAKE SURE MY STAFF GOES FOR BREAK! quite xiong la..

and now, i'm heading to bed.. haha.. need to really sleep... no more waking up in between hours!
